It's Autism awareness month and baystateparent
received Point to Happy A book for Kids
on the Autism Spectrum (Workman, 2011, $19.95 )
in our office.
This book is really well done with bright, clear photographs. It's a one-of-kind design specifically for children
on the autism spectrum. A soft pointer is included so that kids can practice motor tasks of holding and pointing. The child can choose
different foods, recognize colors, interpret everyday tasks and
point to a feeling or emotion as the parent reads.
We only have one copy to share with a reader, and we know autism affects so many of you.
But if you'd like the copy, please comment here and we'll mail it to you.
We also send you our love and support as you navigate parenthood.

FROM MELISSA: Tiny Tag Designs is my sweet jewelry company where I hand stamp children's names or affirmations on sterling silver tags. Moms love wearing their kiddie’s names and Grandmas love showing off their grandchild with a bracelet with all her grandchildren's names. My new line for little girls includes adorable initial necklaces made for 3 to 13 year olds. I hope you like what you see!
