Tonight was
Bay State Parent magazine and Johnny Pesky night at the Lowell Spinners game.
Bay State Parent was the media sponsor. Christopher Culkins, 9, of Harvard was the winner of the magazine's contest; thus, he threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Red Sox legend Pesky threw out the actual first pitch. Afterwards, Pesky signed Culkins' first pitch ball.
The first 1,500 ticketholders to enter the park tonight were given a FREE Pesky Bobble Head.
While our winners and their families and friends had a great time at the sold out game; unfortunately the local team lost to Aberdeen.
